Mortgage & Protection Coordinator/Advisor
Location: Boston (Office based)
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 FTE* (dependant on experience and hours worked)
Hours: Full time. To include 9am – 1pm every other Saturday. However, the nature of the business will require flexibility to accommodate client’s needs.
Holidays: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays with additional paid closure between Christmas and New Year.
*Full time equivalent – actual salary will depend on hours worked
Due to our success in the local market, we’re on the lookout for someone to support one of our experienced brokers and take on your own client base.
This role is the perfect blend of admin support and mortgage advising – ideal for someone who wants to learn, develop, and make a real impact to our business.
The role would suit a mortgage administrator looking to progress without the pressure of having to create your own leads or an accomplished advisor looking for a position within a professional independently owned local company offering flexible working and the opportunity to be part of an experienced team of property professionals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- You'll be front of house to meet and greet clients at our newly refurbished office
- You’ll be responsible for supporting, primarily, our Director with mortgage administrative duties and communicating with clients throughout their mortgage journey
- You’ll play a key role in ensuring that cases are processed smoothly, compliance standards are met, and clients receive the highest level of service
- You’ll work closely with Estate Agents to ensure our clients benefit from a seamless home moving process
- You'll be advising clients on mortgages and protection products with the opportunity to look after and develop your own client base
- Managing existing clients’ remortgages and product transfers
- Liaising with home mover clients and assisting with their property search
- Working flexibly to suit client’s needs with a pro active approach
- Being a friendly, knowledgeable point of contact for our clients
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification (e.g. CeMAP or equivalent)
- Ideally you will have experience working in a financial services role, however an interest in the area or estate agency experience and a willingness to learn are key
- You will be a confident administrative professional with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload
- A high level of computer literacy and a confident communicator who enjoys helping people
- Someone who takes initiative and thrives in a small team
- A reliable team player who shares our commitment to trust and professionalism
